Snip, Snap, Snout

Kaernemaelkskoldskall came home with me to Bland. (It was tricky hiding him in the van.) He seems to really like it here. He says that the snow and the mountains remind him of stories his mother would tell him.

Today we made snow rabbits for me to use for target practice. We used food coloring for the eyes. I've been reading him a children's book called "The Troll with No Heart in His Body" by Lise Lunge-Larsen and Besty Bowen. He likes the morals but doesn't like that the troll is always the bad guy.
